What is the difference between a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist?

A Psychiatrist (M.D.) is a medical doctor who can prescribe medication. A Psychologist (Ph.D.) focuses on talk therapy. We have both on staff to provide holistic care.

How long is a typical session?

Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last 60 minutes. Follow-up medication management appointments are 20-30 minutes. Therapy sessions are usually 45-50 minutes.
